Marketing Overview: every tool in one hub

BrandOps' Marketing hub is the front door to every marketing tool in the platform: ad spend tracking, email campaigns, cold outreach with automated follow-ups, and creator/GMV campaigns. Which cards you see depends on your Business Type, and each one links straight into its own dedicated tool.

This guide gives you a quick orientation, then points you to a deeper guide for each tool.

What's in the Marketing hub

Marketing is a single dashboard page that links out to every marketing tool BrandOps offers, each shown as a card with a live stat pulled straight from your data.

  • Ad Spend and Email Campaigns show for every business type: Ad Spend shows total spend logged, and Email Campaigns shows how many campaigns you've created.
  • Influencer Campaigns (creator/GMV campaigns) only shows for Ecommerce brands, with your live campaign count.
  • Outreach only shows for Ecommerce, SaaS, Consulting, or Freelance brands, with a count of leads still sitting in Pending status.
  • Keyword Finder always shows last, for every business type, since SEO research isn't tied to how you bill.
  • Which cards you see is controlled entirely by Business Type (Settings → Brand); the sidebar's Marketing menu follows the same order: Overview → Templates → Outreach → Outreach Sequences → Email Campaigns → Ad Spend → Keyword Finder.

Ad Spend

Log paid spend across every channel in one place, and let Google Ads spend log itself once you connect it.

  • Log spend manually for Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, or Other, with clicks, impressions, conversions, and conversion value per period.
  • Connect Google Ads and BrandOps can auto-sync yesterday's spend for that channel every day, tagged with an "Auto" badge.
  • ROAS (conversion value ÷ spend) is calculated automatically per entry once you've logged a conversion value.

Email Campaigns

A one-off promo email composer that sends to your existing clients, subscribers, or customers, depending on your business type.

  • Compose a subject and body with {{name}} style personalization, pull in a saved template with one click, and send now or schedule for later.
  • Optionally set a repeat interval so the same campaign re-sends automatically every N days.

Outreach, Sequences & Templates

Three connected tools for cold-emailing new prospects: a leads list, an automated follow-up engine, and a shared message library.

  • Outreach is where individual leads live: add them one at a time, bulk-import a spreadsheet, or pull them in from Lead Finder.
  • Outreach Sequences are named, multi-step follow-up plans with A/B-tested subject/body variants that you enroll already-contacted leads into.
  • Outreach Templates is the reusable script library, shared across Outreach, Outreach Sequences, and Email Campaigns, so you never rewrite the same message twice.

Campaigns (Creator & GMV)

For Ecommerce brands, Campaigns groups creators, content, and a promo code together so you can see real revenue, not just reach.

  • Attach a promo code to a campaign, and BrandOps pulls GMV directly from delivered, shipped, or packed orders that used it.
  • Close out a campaign to freeze its GMV, spend, creator count, and posted-content count as a permanent snapshot.

Keyword Finder

SEO keyword research and content-gap ideas, available to every business type from the last card on the Marketing hub.

  • Not count-based like the other cards; it opens straight into the research tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do the numbers on each Marketing card mean?

Ad Spend shows your all-time total logged spend. Email Campaigns shows how many campaigns you've created. Outreach shows how many leads currently sit in Pending status, waiting on a first email. Influencer Campaigns shows how many campaigns exist. Keyword Finder always just says "Open tool" since it isn't count-based.

Why can't I see an Influencer Campaigns card?

Influencer Campaigns (creator/GMV campaigns) only appears for brands with Business Type set to Ecommerce. It's built around promo-code-linked GMV, which assumes you're selling physical or digital products through orders.

Why don't I have an Outreach card on my Marketing page?

Outreach (and Outreach Sequences and Templates) only show for Ecommerce, SaaS, Consulting, or Freelance brands. Set your Business Type under Settings → Brand if you expect to see it and don't.

What's the difference between Outreach, Outreach Sequences, and Outreach Templates?

Outreach is your leads list: every prospect you're cold-emailing, with a status pipeline from Pending through Sent, Replied, Converted, or Unsubscribed. Outreach Sequences are named, multi-step automated follow-up plans you enroll already-contacted leads into. Outreach Templates is the reusable subject/body library both of those (and Email Campaigns) pull from.

What's the difference between Email Campaigns and Campaigns (creator/GMV)?

Email Campaigns sends a one-off promo email to your existing clients, subscribers, or customers, depending on your business type. Campaigns is a completely separate tool for grouping creators, content, and a promo code together to measure real GMV from delivered orders. They don't share data.

Is Keyword Finder available no matter my business type?

Yes. Keyword Finder is the one Marketing card that always shows, regardless of Business Type, since SEO keyword research isn't tied to how you bill or fulfill.

Do I need to set anything up before these tools appear?

Just your Business Type, set once under Settings → Brand. It controls which cards show up on the Marketing hub and which of the outreach tools are unlocked; nothing else needs configuring to get started.
