Agency Plan Feature

Running multiple brands from one workspace

On the Agency plan, one BrandOps organization can hold any number of brands or client accounts, each with its own Brand Kit, team, and data, switchable from a single dropdown and billed under one subscription.

This guide covers adding a brand, switching between brands, and exactly what carries over versus what stays separate.

Who this is for

Multi-brand workspaces are built for agencies and anyone running more than one brand or client account, all billed under one organization.

  • Your first brand is free on every plan: Starter, Growth, or Agency.
  • A second brand (or third, or thirtieth) requires the Agency plan (₹9,999/month). Starter and Growth stay capped at one brand.
  • Everything runs under a single organization: one login, one billing relationship, one set of org-wide admins, and any number of brands underneath it.

Adding a brand

New brands are added from the brand switcher, not a separate signup: you're extending your existing organization, not creating a new account.

  • Click the brand switcher (it shows your current brand's name with a Store icon) and choose Add brand.
  • That option only shows for an Owner or Admin on the Agency plan. It's hidden for anyone else or on Starter/Growth, so you won't be walked into a setup flow that would just fail on submit.
  • Adding a brand opens the same onboarding wizard used for your first brand, so setup is identical whether it's your 1st brand or your 5th.
  • A newly added brand starts empty: its own Brand Kit, its own business type, and its own integrations, all separate from any other brand in the organization.

Switching between brands

The brand switcher lists every brand you have access to, with a checkmark showing which one is active.

  • Clicking a different brand in the list switches your active brand and reloads the dashboard, so every widget (including ones that load their own data on mount) refreshes for the new brand rather than showing stale data.
  • Whatever page you were on carries over conceptually, but the data underneath it is now the new brand's: different tasks, different content pipeline, different CRM records.
  • The brand switcher only appears once you have at least one brand; it's not shown during initial onboarding before a brand exists.

What's shared vs what's per-brand

This is the part that trips people up most. See the Organization vs Brand Settings guide for the full picture; here's the short version:

  • Shared across every brand (Organization): workspace name and slug, org-wide Owner/Admin team, plan and billing, suppression list for email sends.
  • Specific to each brand (Settings): Brand Kit (logo, colors, tone), business type, that brand's own team members, and its connected integrations.
  • Switching brands changes only what's scoped to the brand itself; your billing, your organization name, and who your org-wide admins are all stay untouched.

Team access across brands

Multi-brand setups usually mean multi-brand teams too. Here's how access layers.

  • Org-wide Owners and Admins automatically have access to every brand in the organization, so they don't need to be added to each one individually; they show up read-only in each brand's Team tab as "implied admins."
  • You can additionally add people to just one brand via that brand's Settings → Team tab, useful for a client contact or a specialist who should only see one account, not your whole agency's workspace.
  • This means an agency owner can keep client-specific team members scoped to their own brand while still seeing everything themselves as an org Owner. Full role details are in the Team & Roles guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many brands can I run from one BrandOps account?

One brand is included free on every plan. Adding a second brand or beyond requires the Agency plan; Starter and Growth are limited to a single brand.

How do I add a second brand?

Use the brand switcher (the dropdown showing your current brand's name) and choose Add brand. It only appears for an Owner or Admin on the Agency plan. The option is hidden for anyone else or on a lower tier, so you're never sent into a setup flow that would fail.

How do I switch between brands?

Open the brand switcher and pick a different brand from the list; a checkmark shows which one is currently active. Switching reloads the dashboard, so every widget (including ones that fetch their own data client-side) refreshes under the new brand.

What stays the same when I switch brands, and what changes?

Organization-level things (your workspace name, org-wide admins, billing and plan, and suppression list) stay exactly the same. Brand-level things (Brand Kit, business type, that brand's own team, and integrations) switch to whatever the newly selected brand has configured. See the Organization vs Brand Settings guide for the full breakdown.

Does each brand have its own team, or is it shared?

Both exist. Org-wide Owners and Admins (managed at Organization → Team) automatically have access to every brand. Beyond that, each brand can have its own additional team members (managed at Settings → Team for that brand) who only see that one brand.

Is billing separate per brand?

No. Billing is one subscription per organization, covering every brand under it: there's no per-brand invoice or separate charge for each client account you add.

Who can I hand a brand off to if I'm an agency managing it for a client?

Invite them from that brand's Settings → Team tab with the Admin, Member, or Viewer role. They'll only get access to that one brand, not your whole organization or your other clients' brands.

Ready to add another brand?

Upgrade to Agency from Organization, then use the brand switcher to add your next brand.
