Know what's actually working
Content Analytics turns every posted item in your Content Pipeline into views, reach, engagement rate, and watch time, broken down by content type, platform, and day of week, plus a separate read on how healthy your production process itself is.
This guide covers the KPIs, the charts, and what Pipeline Health is measuring.
KPIs & Date Ranges
The top of the page is four KPI cards, all scoped to whichever date range you've selected.
- Posts Published, Total Views, Avg Engagement (%), and Avg Watch Time (formatted as e.g. "1m 24s").
- Switch the date range with four presets: 7D, 30D, 90D, or MTD (month-to-date). The exact dates covered are shown next to the buttons.
- Below the KPIs, a Pipeline Status strip shows live counts across Drafts, In Review, Scheduled, and Posted, so your content backlog is visible right alongside performance.
Trend & Breakdown Charts
Four charts break performance down by time, content type, day of week, and platform.
- Performance Trend: a line chart of Views, Reach, or Engagement over the selected range. Toggle which metric it's plotting.
- Views by Content Type: a bar chart comparing Reel, Post, Carousel, Short, and Full Video by total views, each colour-coded by type.
- Avg Views by Day of Week: which days your content tends to perform best on, averaged across the range.
- Platform Breakdown: Instagram vs. YouTube, each with total views, post count, and average engagement rate shown as a proportional bar.
Content Type Performance & Top Posts
Two more detailed views sit below the charts: a full breakdown table by content type, and a ranked list of your top individual posts.
- Content Type Performance table: posts count, total views, avg engagement rate, and avg watch time for every post type that's been used, sorted by views.
- Engagement rate is colour-coded across both views: 5%+ is green, 3–5% is amber, under 3% is red.
- Top Posts: the top 12 posts for the selected range, sortable by Views, Eng. Rate, Saves, or Shares. Each row shows post type, platform, scheduled date, views, engagement rate, watch time, and saves where relevant.
Pipeline Health
A separate card at the bottom of the page measures your production process itself, not just how content performed once it was live.
- Posts / Week: your average publishing cadence over the last 12 weeks. 3+ shows green, 1–2 amber, under 1 red.
- Avg Days to Post: how long content typically takes from creation to going live.
- Rejection Rate: the percentage of all items that got sent back from Approvals. Over 20% shows red, over 10% amber.
- Stalled Drafts: how many items are still sitting in the Draft stage without moving forward.

Content Analytics is scoped to businesses whose content is Instagram/YouTube-driven.
- Available to brands set to Ecommerce or Content/Media Business Type.
- Other business types see a locked page explaining that this view is specifically scoped to Instagram/YouTube performance tracked by the Pipeline scheduler, rather than a generic analytics dashboard.
- Every metric on this page is sourced from posted items in Content Pipeline. There's no separate data entry required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can see Content Analytics?
It's scoped to Ecommerce and Content/Media business types. Other business types see a locked page instead, since this view is specifically built around Instagram/YouTube performance tracked by the Pipeline scheduler.
What date ranges can I view?
Four presets: 7D, 30D, 90D, and MTD (month-to-date). The exact date range covered is shown next to the preset buttons, and every chart and KPI on the page updates to match your selection.
What are the four top KPI cards?
Posts Published, Total Views, Avg Engagement (as a percentage), and Avg Watch Time (formatted as minutes and seconds). All four are scoped to the date range you've selected.
What counts as "engagement rate" on a post?
It's shown per post and colour-coded: 5%+ is treated as strong (green), 3–5% as decent (amber), and under 3% as weak (red), shown both in the Top Posts list and the Content Type Performance table.
What's the Pipeline Status strip showing?
Live counts of your content in each Content Pipeline stage (Drafts, In Review, Scheduled, and Posted), so you can see your content backlog alongside performance numbers without switching pages.
How do I find my best-performing content?
The Top Posts list is sortable by Views, Eng. Rate, Saves, or Shares. Click any sort button to re-rank the list by that metric. It shows up to the top 12 posts for the selected date range.
What does Pipeline Health measure?
Four numbers separate from raw performance: Posts / Week (averaged over the last 12 weeks), Avg Days to Post (from creation to going live), Rejection Rate (share of items rejected in Approvals), and Stalled Drafts (items still sitting in Draft). Posts/Week is colour-coded: 3+ per week is green, 1–2 is amber, under 1 is red.
Does this analytics view cover watch time for photos and carousels?
Avg Watch Time only applies to video content: Reels, Shorts, and Full Videos. It shows as a dash for post types without video, both on individual post rows and in the Content Type Performance table.
