Reports & Analytics

Exporting your data

BrandOps offers CSV exports from two different places, the Reports page and the Analytics page's Reports tab, each with its own set of columns and its own date filtering. This guide breaks down exactly what's in each one, so you know which to reach for.

The Reports Page Exports

The Reports page has a dedicated CSV Exports card with three ready-made exports, each with its own optional From/To date filter.

  • Creator ROI: name, Instagram handle, niche, contact status, deal type, product name and value, cash fee, commission %, revenue attributed, total cost, a calculated ROI %, payment status, whether the reel was posted, the reel URL, and performance stats (views, likes, comments, engagement %, estimated reach).
  • Orders: order number, customer name/email/phone, product, SKU, quantity, amount, status, payment method, source, promo code, city, state, pincode, tracking number, courier, and every order timestamp (created, packed, shipped, delivered).
  • Content Performance: title, platform, post type, status, scheduled and created dates, who created it, views, reach, likes, comments, saves, shares, profile visits, campaign name, and whether it was repurposed from an earlier piece.
  • Leave the From/To fields blank to export everything, or set a range to narrow it down. Filenames include today's date automatically.

The Analytics Page Export

A separate Export Data section lives on the Analytics page's Reports tab, with a dropdown instead of separate cards.

  • Orders: order number, customer, email, product, quantity, amount, status, source, created/shipped/delivered dates, tracking number, courier, city, and state.
  • Content performance: title, type, views, likes, comments, saves, shares, and posted date, plus Clicks, Impressions, and Add to Cart columns reserved for forward compatibility and currently left blank since nothing writes those fields yet.
  • Creators: name, handle, followers, niche, views, likes, comments, engagement %, whether product was sent and its value, whether the reel was posted, and contact status.
  • Full summary: a compact metrics sheet covering total revenue, total orders, average order value, content pieces posted, total content views, customer issues, and returns, all for the selected period.
  • This export always uses whatever date range is currently selected on the Analytics page, rather than a separate date picker.

Plan & Access

One of these two export surfaces is plan-gated; the other isn't.

  • The Analytics page's export (Orders, Content, Creators, Full summary) requires the Growth plan or higher; Starter-plan workspaces will hit an upgrade prompt if they try to use it.
  • The Reports page's export (Creator ROI, Orders, Content Performance) has no separate plan restriction of its own.
  • Both exports are scoped to your current brand, so you'll only ever see data for the brand you're currently viewing, not every brand in your organization at once.

What Isn't Exported (Yet)

A couple of honest gaps worth knowing before you build a workflow around these exports.

  • ContentPiece, a separate, older content model from the live ContentPipeline tool, has no active write path in BrandOps today, so it contributes nothing to either content export regardless of date range.
  • Suppressed/opted-out contacts aren't broken out as their own export. If you need a list of addresses currently blocked from email, that lives on the Suppression tab under Settings → Organization instead of a CSV download.

Frequently Asked Questions

What file format do exports come in?

CSV, ready to open in Excel or Google Sheets, or feed into your own BI tool. Reports-page exports include a UTF-8 byte-order mark so Excel opens special characters (like ₹) correctly instead of showing garbled text.

Where do I find CSV exports in BrandOps?

Two places: the Reports page has a dedicated CSV Exports card (Creator ROI, Orders, Content Performance), and the Analytics page's Reports tab has its own Export Data section (Orders, Content performance, Creators, or a Full summary).

Can I filter an export by date range?

Yes, on both export surfaces. Leave the From/To fields blank on the Reports page to export all data, or set a range to narrow it down; the Analytics page's export always uses whatever date range you've currently selected for that view.

Is exporting available on every plan?

The Analytics page's export (orders, content, creators, full summary) requires the Growth plan or higher. The Reports page's export (creator ROI, orders, content) has no separate plan gate.

Does the Creator ROI export include profit/loss, or just raw numbers?

It includes a calculated ROI % column (revenue attributed minus total cost, divided by total cost), alongside the raw fee, product value, and revenue figures it's calculated from, so you don't have to build the formula yourself.

Why are some columns in the Content export blank?

The Analytics page's content export includes Clicks, Impressions, and Add to Cart columns for forward compatibility, but nothing in BrandOps currently writes those fields for content, so they're intentionally left blank rather than showing fabricated zeros.

Does an export include every order ever, or just what's on screen?

It pulls fresh from the database for the date range you set, not just what's currently rendered on screen, so an export can include far more rows than what's paginated in the UI.
