Your account and profile settings
Your personal profile is separate from your organization and brand settings. It's just your name, email, and password. This guide covers exactly what you can change there and what needs support instead.
Looking for team, billing, or brand settings instead? See the Organization vs Brand Settings guide.
Display name
Your name is the part of your profile that shows up elsewhere in the app, so it's the one field everyone can edit regardless of login method.
- Update it from Your profile → Display name. The field explains exactly where it's used: it shows in the dashboard and in emails to your team.
- The Save changes button only activates once you've actually changed the value, so there's no accidental submit of an unchanged name.
- This is separate from your organization's name (set at Organization → Workspace) and separate from any individual brand's name. Changing your display name doesn't touch either of those.
Email address
Email is shown on the profile page but it's read-only by design.
- The field is disabled and greyed out, with a note underneath: "Email can't be changed here. Contact support if you need to update it."
- This is deliberate: email is tied to how you sign in and how invites and notifications reach you, so it isn't a self-serve edit.
Password
The password section adapts to how your account was created.
- If you signed up with email and password, you'll see a Change password form asking for your current password, a new password, and confirmation.
- New passwords need at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, and one number.
- If your account uses Google or another social login instead, there's no password to manage, and the page tells you so directly rather than showing an empty or broken form.
- A successful password change keeps you signed in on your current session; you don't get logged out.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I change on my profile page?
Your display name and, if your account uses a password, your password. Both live on the Your Profile page (name, email, and password settings), reachable from your dashboard.
Can I change my email address myself?
No. Email is shown read-only on the profile page with a note to contact support if you need it updated. There's no self-serve field for it.
Where does my display name show up?
In the dashboard and in emails sent to your team, for example next to invites you've sent or actions attributed to you.
I signed up with Google. Why don't I see a password section?
If your account uses Google or another social login, there's no password to change, and the profile page tells you that directly instead of showing a change-password form.
What are the password requirements?
A new password needs at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, and one number.
Do I need my current password to set a new one?
Yes. The change-password form asks for your current password alongside the new one and a confirmation, before it will accept the change.
Will changing my password sign me out?
No. After a successful change, you stay signed in on your current session.
